Application fields

The rotary cylinder dryer characterized by reliable performance, flexible operation, strong adaptablity, and capacity to deal with large quantity of material, is widely used in metallurgical plant, building material plant, food industry, light industry, chemical plant, coal, pharmaceutical industry and mine industry. The machine is generably adaptable to deal with particle material, and also adapatable to dry sticky cream materials or material of high water content by adding some other materials. The advantages of the machine are great capacity, large field of application, small flow resistance, bigger allowable fluctuation scope, and convenient operation, etc. It is often used to dry sand, ore powder, coal slime, chicken and cow muck, etc.

Structure and principles

The rotary cylinder dryer is composed of 1,cylinder; 2, the front roll ring; 3,the back roller ring; 4, gear; 5, block roller; 6, drag roller; 7, small gear; 8, discharging part; 9, block plank; 10, deceleration machine; 11, motor; 12, hot air way, 13, feeding chute; 14, furnace. Besides, we provide gas generator, combustion or supporting hoist, belt conveyor, quantitative feeder, dust cyclone, induced draft fan, etc.according to the requirement of the customer.

2. Rotary drum dryer works
Dry wet materials are transmitted to the hopper by belt conveyor or bucket hoist, then into the feeding terminal by hopper of feeding machine through charging pipe. The rake of feeding pipe must be greater than the natural inclination of material, so that the material can flow smoothly into dryer containers. Dryer cylinder is a rotating cylinder slightly sloping with horizontal line. The heat carrier which enters from the lower end forms counter-current contact with material which flows in from higher end. Sometimes heat carrier flows into the cylinder body together with the material. With the rotation of the drum materials are sent to the lower terminal by gravity. Wet materials in the cylinder directly or indirectly got heat from the heat carrier in the process of moving forward,thus wet materials becomes dry, and then is sent out from the material end by belt conveyor or screw conveyor. Fry board is equipped in the cylinder body, the role of which is to pick the material up and down to increase the contact surface of the material with air flow in order to improve the drying efficiency and promote the material progress. Heat carrier includes hot air and flue gas. When heat carrier passesthrough the dryer, dust cyclone is needed to collect the adhesion material from the carrier. For further reduction of dust content in exhausting gases, bag filter or wet dust catcher is needed to filt the material before discharging.
